D is for Devils and Angels

Devils, most commonly known by their tendency to sit on your shoulder when there is a decision to make and whispering in your ear that you should do this or that. For example; some person is hanging from a cliff by one finger and the little angle on your other shoulder is telling you to help him up, but he just stole your girlfriend or something and you never liked him in the first place sooooooo what do you do, your going to help him up because of everything that little angel said but then your personal little devil on your shoulder whispers into your ear all the things he did to you and how he practically dropped you off of a cliff already, so since the devil most always gets the best of you you walk over to him sit down and start telling him all the things that you still remember about what he's done to you and how for that you get a bag of popcorn and say your not going to help him up but watch him fall instead. If your reading this and smiling then there is a devil sitting on one of your shoulders right now telling you who the person dangling of the cliff is in your life and how you would love to have that power over them, or your just sick... either way you should talk to somebody about that, maybe a shrink, just a suggestion. Anyways back to the blog, so the little devil is all smug sitting on your shoulder eating popcorn while you are starting to feel guilty, a terrible thing that makes you feel bad about what you've done, comes from the angel sitting on the shoulder not occupied by the devil. You see the little devil and the little demon are complete opposites, one is always bigger than the other at different times, if the angel was bigger in this story then Bob lets call him, would have helped the other man up, but since the devil was bigger he didn't help him up. But now since the little devil has had his way and is watching the scene go as planned , on the other shoulder the angel is getting bigger and is using one of his most powerful weapons, guilt.

So now after the other man has fallen and you are going home you feel bad, really bad, so bad you just want to sit at home eating chocolate for the rest of your life feeling bad for yourself. And that's my blog.

Life Lesson: Stop giving your devil popcorn. :(

C is for Candy/Cavities

Candy. The best stuff ever made. The stuff you've loved since you've tried it. It comes in a million different shapes, forms, and sizes. Hard candy, soft candy, chewy candy, thick candy, thin candy. It's so good because of one magic ingredient, sugar. The stuff that tastes good and is bad for your teeth, bad combination isn't it. I mean, why is it everything that tastes good is bad for you and everything that tastes bad is the best for you, I just don't get it. Why do we have to suffer to eat healthy and get cavities when we eat to much sugar? Well i say, we have a vote!!! Whoever thinks that those adults should make sugar that's good for you vote for it on this blog!!! Imagine a world, with kids running around after school stuffing candy into their mouths every day with their parents encouraging them because it's good for you... ok mabey you shouldn't think about that thought exactly. OK, at the dinner table you ask what dinner is going to be and your mom says, "Soft caramels and Hershey Bars." imagine that! Your parents getting mad at you when you don't go out for Halloween, or if you don't finish the last bits of licorice on your plate. I can picture it right now... Heaven.

Life lesson: It hasn't happened yet so don't pig out on candy... yet ;)

B is for Banana Holders

Banana holders are really cool. Lots of people I know have one and it is the most ingenious invention ever! Let's say you want to eat a banana for lunch that day, but you absolutely HATE mushy bananas. If you get a banana in your lunch that day and it's all mushy, what do you do with it, you throw it out right? Of course you will because really, who likes a mushy banana? So if this happens to you a lot, you should get the banana holder. Just to prove this, I held some interviews with some owners of the banana holder. When I talked to Jordan, he said "The banana holder changed my life! I hate bruised bananas and it ruins my day finding that my banana has been bruised on the long journey to school in my lunch bag." Interesting how a little thing can make such a BIG difference. In the words of Alex Craig "The one size fits all saying on it is so true!!! Every banana I put in that thing fit and is bruise free!" How cool is that?! How did the guys that make this make it one size fits all? They must have measured every banana they ate! And they must have been pretty serious about their bananas to make something to protect them, so buy a banana holder to save your bananas!

Life Lesson: Don't stand for mushy bananas!!! ;)

A is for Alphabiography

A is for alpha-biography because that's what I'm writing. Every week we need to write an entry on a letter of the alphabet. I think its kind of cool because you get to choose what to write about that starts with that letter, for instance, i might wright for my next post; B is for Broccoli, or B is for Barracudas, or B is for Bread. I could write something about any of those and way more! Alpha-biographys are way better than what we have been doing before for all these reasons. It gives you choice but you have guidelines to follow. And that's why i like our assignment.

Life lesson: Change is good ;)
